As a teenager, Mel Houghton was an internationally competitive swimmer, representing Australia at three World Championships. She also set several Australian Records and won multiple National Titles. She had the world at her feet, but, what most people don't know is that she suffered from depression from the age of 15 and developed Bulimia Nervosa at age 17.
