Trusses have been used extensively for roof structure of many spans. Truss configuration has a significant impact on both a building's exterior appearance and interior space. In current practice there is lack of proper guidelines to achieve optimum section. This book deals with an economic design approach to optimize the size, shape and topology of truss structures.
