Usually when darkness descends at hill region, people rush to wrap up their daily chores.They had to use kerosene lamps. Kerosene lamp's fume seems to had drained the excitement from their lives. Generally it was seen that children eyes would water and were irritated and painful because of the kerosene lamp, if they study any longer than an hour, they were also afraid of the dark, so they slept in the light of the lamp from 9 pm-6 am. It was observed that during investigation those solar lighting gadgets had significant impact on the people of mountain areas.
