For the first time in decades, here is an in-depth look at Minnesota government and politics, providing a useful overview of the history, structure, and distinctive characteristics of the political system in the North Star State. He is the author or editor of more than fifty books including "Exploring Federalism". Virginia H. Gray is a professor of political science at the University of Minnesota -Twin Cities. She is a coauthor of several books including "Politics in the American States: A Comparative Analysis". Wyman L. Spano is a Minnesota lobbyist.
